This is a reminder to all parents of female students about our dress code. If your daughter is going to wear leggings, yoga pants, stretch pants, etc. They must also wear a shirt that meets the fingertip rule. Please take care of this at home so that we do not have to send your daughter home or call you to bring appropriate clothing. Thank you.

I have some information for those of you who were nominated for the Lone Star Leadership Academy. You will not need to have any other recommendations from the school. The fact that you were nominated speaks for itself. The website has links to sample letters that you can write to potential sponsors. Also, there is a scholarship application but it is only for $100 and will require several things including some financial paperwork from the school. I think this is a good program and certainly worth checking out.

Congrats to Alicia at the State Powerlifting Meet! She recorded personal bests on the squat and bench press. She set a new personal record of total pounds lifted with 895 lbs! Great job Alicia!

Meadow FCCLA members did a great job at the Region I FCCLA Leadership Conference. We had 3 teams advance to State. Emily Magana Job Interview-1st Place....Jazmin Haile, Abygail Elizondo Chapter Service-4th Place....Vianzae Garcia & Kaylee Morin Chapter in Review -4th Place.

Technology students attended the iDigi Festival at South Plains College on Thursday. Six students entered contest and brought home four silver medals, 1 bronze medal, and one honorable mention. Izaiah Gonzales was also awarded a $500 Graphic Design scholarship!
