Meadow FFA Announcement

Marek is originally from Sundown, Texas, and brings a strong passion for both education and athletics. She believes that education can change the trajectory of a child’s life—and that athletics is an extension of that mission. Her coaching philosophy centers on building vital life skills like discipline, work ethic, problem solving, and mental toughness.
This is her third year in education. Previously, she taught English and served as the head cross country and track coach at Morton ISD. At Meadow, she’ll be teaching English I, II, and III, serving as head cross country coach, and assisting with basketball and track.
Coach Marek says what drew her to Meadow ISD was the community’s deep investment in student success both in and out of the classroom. She’s excited to continue building strong relationships with students, staff, and families—and to grow alongside her students academically, athletically, and personally.
She’s especially excited to be joining the Bronco family with her two-year-old son, Owen, and has already felt the warm welcome of this tight-knit town.
Welcome to Meadow, Coach Emily Marek! 💛💜
