This award recognizes students who go above and beyond — hardworking, respectful, and well-rounded role models on campus. Meadow teachers nominate students who are doing great things and showing what it means to be a GREAT BRONCO every day! 💜💛
🎉 This week’s Bronco Trailblazers:
Kamilah Flores has worked so hard this semester. She did amazing at her UIL competitions and has continuously grown as a student. In addition to her academic success, Kamilah works hard to make sure everyone around her has a friend and a smiling face to look for. She loves to include those around her and is always offering up a kind word!
Hannah Houchin is leading our school in AR. She sets goals for herself and works diligently to achieve them. Recently, she set the goal of 100 AR points before Christmas. This morning, Dec. 15, she officially surpassed 100. Just this quarter, she read 18 books, 730,205 words and earned 62 points! This is a tremendous achievement.
I believe that showing respect and kindness through actions—not just words—is an excellent reason to nominate Azakai Villegas. It begins with the small things that eventually grow into greater leadership for the future. Azakai consistently demonstrates respect and kindness to both peers and adults, which is a wonderful foundation for leadership. He spreads kindness wherever he goes and contributes thoughtful ideas during teamwork.
Great work, Azakai.
Erik Gonzalez is very studious. He is a leader by showing a commitment to getting his work completed in an efficient and accurate manner. Anytime he is asked to make changes, or even start over, he does it without complaint. He genuinely wants to show his best in all he sets out to accomplish.

🌊🐠 Ocean Puns in Ms. Dawdy’s Kindergarten! 🐠🌊
Learning shore was fun in Kindergarten! Ms. Dawdy’s class used their bodies to build the parts and find the whole, then worked together to create number stories with sea animals. 🧮🐚

🌾 Meadow FFA closed out a successful Fall semester last night as 7 members traveled to Denver City for the Mesa District FFA Banquet and Speaking Events.
Our chapter proudly received our District LDE banners from the district officers, with Melanie Calhoun serving as Mesa District Secretary. Ty King and Kyle Woodard represented Meadow FFA as voting delegates.
