The third grade went on a virtual field trip with the Texas Tech Cultural Center and learned how different cultures celebrate light. They visited Germany and learned about Laternefest and had a parade. They visited India and learned of the celebration of Diwali. Also, they visited Scotland and learned Scottish Yuletide Traditions. Lastly, they listened to a tradition song Auld Lang Syne played at New Year’s Eve with bag pipes.

These individuals will be quarantined according to their provider’s guidelines and instructions. Per our protocols, all areas that these individuals have come into contact with have been de-contaminated for the safety of all of our students and faculty.
