DO NOT FOR ANY REASON STOP OR PARK IN THE STREET. If a spot is unavailable please simply make a block and one will free up. Thank you in advance for your help in this matter.

Forensic Science finished up their Fiber Unit last week. They used the fiber burn analysis method to identify different types of fibers by observing how the fiber reacted when heated or placed in the flame. This then helped them identify the type of fiber left at the “crime scene” and “gas station” to identify the culprit.
Our Meadow FFA family is hard at work! It was a great site to see all our members come out and help cleanup our section of highway that we are sponsoring. We had lots of fun while giving back and doing our part.
The mayor, Natelie Howard, visited our fifth grade students to discuss her role as the mayor in the City of Meadow. Our fifth grade students may run for mayor of Burleson Elementary this November! The mayor will help represent the students here in the elementary and on announcements every morning! The students running for the position will write speeches and campaign for the position. Elections will be held on November 22!
Senior Parents - Sara from LEARN will be on campus tomorrow from 8-3 if you need assistance with FAFSA. We will be in the media center.
Meadow FFA is volunteering to clean a section of highway tomorrow from 2-4. All FFA members, Jr. and SR., are encouraged to come and get involved. From Meadow, head west on Hwy 211. The location will be where the highway turns into Hwy 303. Hope to see you there!!!
Reminder Junior High Football and Varsity High School Football tonight starting at 5:30...Parent acknowledgment night with a full concession...Come to the football field and enjoy our last football games for the year!

We had a great showing at Texas Tech Invitational! Greenhand Quiz 4th Greenhand Chapter Conducting 5th Greenhand Creed 7th 11th Radio 5th. There were about 20 team in each competition. Very proud of this Meadow FFA Family with all there hard work and great success!!!
Great job to the fourth graders for leading the second six weeks celebration for the elementary students! We celebrated honor students, perfect attendance, great citizenship, top readers, eager readers, individual awards, and Mrs. Lambright, the teacher if the month! Way to encourage your children in reading! The students have currently read over 7 million words!!! We are so proud of all of their hard work!
Gates for the football games will open at 5pm Thursday. Since we are hosting both a JH and HS game there will be a gate charge for the JH game. It will cost $4 for adults and $2 for students to enter the stadium. You will get both games for this price. Thank you for supporting Meadow Bronco football.
It is time to signup for Stock Shows. Three Options: First is tonight at the booster club meeting at 6:30, then Friday 4-6, and last next Tuesday 4-6 at the AG Shop. If you are entering Ft Worth, I need that entry by Friday where I can get it postmarked! Thanks Reagan Stuart
I am extremely proud of our Meadow FFA family! These young men and women have work extremely hard. Meadow FFA had the most participation in awhile. Nine teams made up of 20 students. We were able to hang some banners today with many more to come. One more step in winning!
Report cards will go out on Thursday for both the elementary and secondary campuses from now on at the end of each six weeks.
Thursday November 7th is Parents Night for the fall sports. We will be recognizing athletes and their parents who participated in Cross Country, Football, and Cheerleading. We will announce the students and their parents or guardians between the Junior High and Varsity football games on Thursday November 7th. Please plan to be there at 7:00. We will begin announcing shortly after the Junior High game ends.
We will take the district picture on Thursday, November 14th at 2:20 pm weather permitting. Please plan ahead and we need everyone to wear PURPLE!!
